THINGS TO DO

Places to Taste

7637 Ivory Ave
St. Louis, MO 63111

Best burgers in all of STL! Our go-to meal here is the En Feugo burger with sweet potato fries, but you can't go wrong with any of their specialty burgers. Come hungry.

4341 Manchester Ave
St. Louis, MO 63110

Highest rated STL restaurant on Yelp and for good reason! If you're feeling adventurous, we recommend the SLU special.

8103 Big Bend Blvd
Webster Groves, MO 63119

There's a reason why this place consistently sells out every single day. The Pide is a robust lunch for a cold day. Don't worry, we don't know how to pronounce the menu either.

4580 Laclede Ave
St. Louis, MO 63108

In the mood to feel a little fancy? We recommend the Roasted Chicken or the Coq au Vin if you're fancying European fair. Their American Burger has no business being as good as it is.

1261 Castillons Arcade Plaza
St. Louis, MO 63141

A fantastic lunch place for a larger group where you get to cook your own meat to your liking. If you're feeling ambitious, bring your hungry group and go for the All You Can Eat option - just make time for a nap after!

8135 Maryland Ave
Clayton, MO 63105

One of the best brunch places in town. A word of caution: show up early. They don't take reservations and it fills up FAST. If you manage to get a table, the Clara Cakes are phenomenal for anyone with a
sweet tooth.

4176 Manchester Ave
St. Louis, MO 63110

The coolest coffee shop STL has to offer, with a fantastic kid-friendly space if you're bringing your kiddo's. Their selection caters to you whether you're in the mood for something snobby or something simple.

Places to Sip

4465 Manchester Ave
St. Louis MO 63110

Where Gilles & Kristy had their first ever English study date and celebrated after they first got hitched in 2019. Be sure to say "Prost!" with their signature Zwickel lager (and maybe some pommes frites on
the side).

1903 Pestalozzi St
St. Louis, MO 63118

Kristy's favorite bar in the city (and possibly in the world). It doesn't matter what you prefer to sip on: this evolving piece of art is weird as could be and you'll lose track of time seeking out oddities in every nook and cranny.

2635 Cherokee St
St. Louis, MO 63118

Show up here on the right night and you can have your fortune read by their resident fortune teller. They have many great drinks specials, perfect for when you're (hopefully) drinking to your good fortune!

St. Louis, MO 63110

Great wine and charcuterie selection in one of the most gorgeous neighborhoods of St. Louis.

They've got great bartenders, live music, and a killer back patio. We'll be honest: we're surprised we're still allowed in there after some particularly disastrous nights spent dangerously mixing alcohol and competitive pool games (see right).

Places to Visit

4344 Shaw Blvd

A gorgeous sight to behold in any season. The Garden has a variety of rotating exhibits indoors and outdoors, in daytime and in nighttime. Naturally, our favorite spot is the Japanese garden.

3716 Washington Blvd
St. Louis, MO 63108

Contemporary art enthusiasts look no further! Even if modern art isn't your cup of tea, this spot boasts sharp architecture and a stunning infinity water court that's, as the kids say, Instagram-worthy.

750 N 16th St
St. Louis, MO 63103

Ever ridden a roof-top ferris wheel? City Museum is part museum, part amusement park in a blend that entertains adults and kids alike. We should mention there's a roof-top bar, too....

1 Fine Arts Dr
St. Louis, MO 63110

It's beautiful, it's expansive, and it's FREE! SLAM has a variety of permanent installations and rotating exhibits for any and all artistic proclivities.

5595 Grand Dr
St. Louis, MO 63112

Where to begin? Forest Park is home to spots like the (Free!) St. Louis Zoo, the beautiful Jewel Box, the History Museum, and much more. The best part is the Winter-time outdoor skating rink, the Steinburg skating rink. It's where Gilles first confessed his feelings for Kristy.

4257 Northeast Dr
St. Louis, MO 63110

Tower Grove is the neighborhood Kristy & Gilles have called home for the past 3 years. The crown jewel is the park at the center, which has playgrounds, lush greenery, and a weekend Farmer's Market.
